What we use
Manufacturer manuals and official support pages are our primary sources. We record the publisher, market, title, URL, relevant section, and date checked. Professional references may add context; community discussions are leads for investigation, not sole evidence for code meanings or repair steps.
What we avoid
We do not infer a code’s meaning from a similar code on another appliance. We do not treat a model family as a verified list of exact models without supporting documentation. We summarize sources in our own words and link to the original material.
